The role
A Technical Lead to design and deliver AI/ML, Generative AI, data engineering and analytics capabilities for the company's products and services. You will find where these technologies create measurable value, take solutions from data readiness to production, and make sure they are secure, validated and supportable, while helping hire and grow the team with the R&D Manager.
What you will do
- Lead and mentor engineers working on AI/ML, analytics and data-driven product capabilities
- Own technical design and delivery of AI/ML and analytics features in enterprise products
- Take initiatives from use-case definition and data assessment through prototyping, validation, integration, deployment and monitoring
- Design scalable data pipelines, analytics, machine learning and Generative AI solutions that integrate with existing enterprise applications
- Review architecture, data flows, model choices, prompts, code and evaluation; contribute hands-on to critical components
- Put validation, traceability, monitoring, security, privacy and human oversight in place for AI-enabled features
- Assess data quality, governance and readiness before recommending an approach
- Take part in hiring, technical interviews and team development
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, IT or a related field
- 6+ years in software, data, analytics or AI/ML engineering, including production solutions
- 2+ years as a technical lead, mentoring engineers and leading delivery
- Strong hands-on Python with AI/ML, data processing and analytics libraries
- Machine learning, Generative AI / LLMs, embeddings, RAG, model evaluation and production AI patterns
- Data engineering: ETL / ELT, APIs, structured and unstructured data, SQL and analytics platforms
- Integrating AI/ML or analytics into enterprise applications; cloud data / AI platforms, MLOps
