A product company building an AI-driven supply-chain platform used by large manufacturers, retailers and 3PLs for demand planning, inventory optimisation, transportation and warehouse visibility.
About the role
You will design and build the core services behind our planning and execution platform – order,
inventory and shipment services that process millions of events a day for enterprise customers.
What you'll do
- Own backend services end to end: design, build, test, deploy, operate
- Build event-driven microservices on Kafka and PostgreSQL
- Design APIs and integrations with customer ERP/WMS/TMS systems (SAP, Oracle, Manhattan)
- Improve performance, reliability and observability of high-throughput services
- Mentor engineers and drive code-review and design standards
What we're looking for
- 5-9 years of backend development, strong in Python (Django or FastAPI)
- Solid data modelling and SQL; PostgreSQL preferred
- Experience with distributed systems, message queues and cloud (AWS/GCP)
- Supply-chain, logistics or ERP domain exposure is a strong plus
