The role
A Technical Lead to lead quality engineering across the company's enterprise software products. The role combines test automation and modern AI-assisted quality engineering with delivery leadership, mentoring and hiring, working closely with Development, DevOps, Product Management and the R&D Manager to build quality into the SSDLC.
What you will do
- Lead and mentor the Quality Engineering team and own the testing strategy, priorities and release commitments
- Define risk-based test strategies across functional, integration, API, UI, database, performance, security and regression testing, including validation of AI/ML and analytics features
- Maintain requirements traceability and coverage for complex, configurable, form-intensive, workflow-driven applications
- Design and evolve scalable automation frameworks and AI-assisted testing (test generation, intelligent regression selection, failure analysis)
- Integrate automated tests and quality gates into CI/CD with Development and DevOps
- Define release-readiness criteria, lead defect and root-cause analysis, and track quality metrics
- Review automation code and frameworks, and take part in hiring QE / SDET engineers
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
- 6+ years in software testing and quality engineering, with strong hands-on automation and team leadership
- Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or equivalent, with Java and / or Python; exposure to AI-assisted or agentic testing
- API testing, SQL / database validation, and testing Angular / React front ends on Java / Spring back ends
- CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI or GitHub Actions
- Performance, security, data integrity, test-data management and traceability for enterprise SaaS
- TDD / BDD, risk-based, exploratory and shift-left testing
- Testing configurable, form-intensive, workflow-driven applications is highly desirable; understanding of 21 CFR Part 11 compliance is a plus
